QUESTION: I purchased and Mytee Air Hog 7303 and it is missing the male and female QD on the extractor. What is up with this?
Answer: Please visit
Please see the bottom of the webpage: "SERVICE NOTE: MACHINES MANUFACTURED AFTER 9/23/11 WILL NO LONGER HAVE A MALE AND FEMALE 1/4" BRASS WATER CONNECTION INSTALLED ON THE MACHINE. IT SERVED NO PURPOSE."
We where notified of this service issue and updated our webpage on 9/23/11.
QUESTION: Okay. Thank you so much for that. You are correct. When I initially visited your Mytee Products site as I still see it today, it states "Stand Alone Low Pressure Extractor" and indeed that is what I wanted to purchase. Is there a way I can purchase any older model that still has those couplings available? That was the whole purpose of me purchasing this unit. As it is today, it is not "stand alone" and this creates an issue for me. Can you help me?
ANSWER: Do you realize that the original model did not have a water pump installed in it? The hose served no purpose. It had a male on one side and a female on the other. Just a plain piece of hose in the middle of the bottom of the machine. Nobody ever used this. Instead take the connection from your sink or pump and go straight to you cleaning wand. Why do you want the water hose to make an extra stop along the way? These machines are used as a stand alone extractor when used with a high flow extraction kit or a booster pump system.
