  • Can an electric machine have more suction power than a gasoline truck mount?

Can an electric machine have more suction power than a gasoline truck mount? Yes, in vacuum power, in gallon per minute, in max pressure, and in BTU of heat. All this is possible. A vacuum unit is calculated at sea level and formula is Maximum inches of lift @ zero CFM X (times) CFM @ zero includes of lift = vacuum unit. Inches of lift means at sea level stick a 1” diameter clear tube in a swimming pool vertical with the vacuum hose at the top. How high can you suck up the 1” diameter column of water till it reaches zero cfm (air stops moving) (CFM = cubic feet per minute.) CFM rating is taken un-restricted or at zero inches of lift. How many boxes of air 12” X 12” X 12” leave the machine without a hose on the machine, without the wand on the floor. The disappointing thing about this is most factories lie about the numbers, so it is hard to know the truth about what you want to purchase. Please read:
