Question: I own a 500 psi Ninja and am interested in using the Typhoon 12 spinner tool. Please clarify if this is OK.
Answer: The minimum recommended pump to use spinner tools is 1000 psi @ 2 gpm or 2000 cleaning units speed. Please note that about 1/3 of the energy is lost as the spinner bar/jets/nozzles are spinning away from the floor. Most of the 500 psi machine are rated at 1 gpm (500 cleaning unit speed) and if your machine is suction feed (in this case the ninja unit is) the performance is even worse. You really need to consider a single fixed jet tile wand like the Raptor Classic RC5.
