Has anyone ever attempted to design and build their own truck mount, and if so, what was the outcome of the project?

Make a truckmount

Building a truckmount will take more time than you think, cost more money than you planned.
The machine will evolve and change with time as you will always be making improvements on your design.
Hunting down part will be a real **** as you try to make each change.
You should only take on this type of project if you really like working on equipment.
For most people would be better off doing your job of marketing, cleaning, and restoration and leave building machines to the professionals.
