with 2" hose now able to run off my prtable, will it be worth having a wand that can directly connect to the 2" hose or is running the last 15' or so of hose at 1.5" not lose too much suction power? i know the power wands have 2" pipes so the 2" hose connects directly.

leader hoses

A short 10 or 15 ft leader hose in 1.5" ID does not seam to affect the vacuum to a noticeable reduction. I like to use them even on 2" wands and just use an expander 2" cuff that has the 1.5" hose threads. I like the reduction in weight and better flexibility.
