Can I use a 1.5" ID vacuum hose On a machine that has 1-1/4" ID Hose Currently?
Answer: Yes. Usually some factories use a 1-1/4" ID vacuum hose with a flared or expanded hose cuff that accepts a 1.5" cuff to the machine.
The factories only used the smaller diameter vacuum hose to save money.
All brands of machine that accept 1.5" ID hose cuffs can use 1.5" ID vacuum hose even if the original machine came with 1-1/4" ID hose.
Measure across the machine hose barb outside diameter and if it is 1.5" across you can use 1.5" ID vacuum hose.
