  • Chemical Mixing Ratios

Im new to the whole truckmount scene so I was wondering how do you go about mixing the chemicals. Im use to the ol' Rug Doctor from my local Wal-Mart.

If I wanted to mix my Powdered Extraction Detergent with my Odor Counteractant all into my 5 Gallon solution bottle would it be possible without screwing something up. That way I could clean and deodorize at the same time...

I bought a 50# container of Carpet Cop [Truckmounts: 1 1/2 lbs. per 5 gal. stock (Meter)]... And I have 1Gallon of Multi-Fresh Citrus Odor Counteractant [Truckmounts: 32 oz. per 5 gal. stock (Meter)]..

    carpet cleaning and chemical mixing

It would be a better itea if you presprayed the carpet with the cleaner and the deoderizer first. Purchase a pump up sprayer and a large spray tip. Then mix 2 oz of cleaner and 2 oz of deoderizer in each gallon of water and prespray the carpet with it. This will give the the cleaner more than one second to work and improve cleaning results. Allow the prespray to dwell for 20 min. Then in the machine use a formulated rinse aid or just water to rinse the carpet. Less soap and chemical residu will will help the carpet stay cleaner longer and feel softer.
