Adding auto fill to your carpet cleaning machine

Question: Hello, i have spoken with a few of you guys today regarding turning my portable into a auto fill/auto dump machine.
You have pointed me in the direction of part # pb-3, and de440, perfect, however i see which might even be better for me is the clean storm 20130730, the only confusing thing i am trying to figure it is the auto fill part that hooks up to the faucet or garden hose, from left to right is has i'm guessing a solution suction for my detergent, then two water lines, one with a male, and the other with a female quick disconnect. As far as i can see in my machine i only have one hole in the bottom of my clean water tank, so my questions are,
1. what is the second water line for?
2. do i need it?

Question: Pressure feed auto fill kits do not offer chemical injection. This is currently only possible with suction feed auto fill kits.
1. Second line is for the return hose that is required on positive displacement water pumps off the pressure regulator.
2. Do you need it? Yes it is required on all positive displacement water pump. It is not required on diaphragm on demand pumps.

Examples of diaphragm pumps: Shurflo, Flojet, Aquatec

Converting a 220 psi pump to pressure feed auto fill

Question: Information really helpful, i replied to the forum but i did not have permission so i guess this will work for now.
I have a aquajet i believe its only a 150 or 200 non adjustable psi pump so i just wouldn't use the return line?
What is the last barbed port for to the left in the picture below, in another picture on your website i see a 1/4 in clear line hooked to it and i was thinking its for a chemical injection.
Does the autodump pump run continuously on a setup like this?

Positive displacement pumps heat the water as they cycle around in a loop.
These sensors are set to 140 degrees F. and discharge water that is too hot for the pump seals.

The clear tube was only installed because this customer was going to add a long 50 ft hot water hose and was moving the portable away from the sink.
Since these normally dispense the over heated water to the sink we need to have it dispense to the fresh water tank.
Auto dump systems that use and 'under the hood pump' instead of a submersible pump do run all the time and are not on a float switch.
