Question: hi i bought a heatnrun 600 hr heater from u and it stopped working mfg date oct 05 2012 serial hpj87766407 if i send it to u will it be covered on warranty thanks for your time rick
Answer: The warranty is with the factory and not Steambrite.
Please do not ship to us as this will generate you having to pay to ship to EDIC.
Please note the factory does not cover freeze damage, running dry damage, or operating the unit on a 14 gauge power cord (12 awg required)
I would suggest your first step would be to email EDIC a copy of the invoice, photos, as well as a list of test you have performed to confirm it is really broken.
Note: Out of all the different types, brands, styles of high pressure carpet cleaning heaters, this is the only one that cannot be run dry. It is also the only unit that requires service at the factory as they do not let dealers repair this model. This is because they use a special 2 part expandable insulating foam on the inside of the case.
