Question: Hello, wondering if you can help me diagnose a problem with a machine i purchased from steambrite. I'm using the machine for about the 5th time or so and all of a sudden it won't spray using either wand that I have. It primes just fine, pump works, but as soon as i hook it up to a wand I get nothing on either one... any ideas?

Answer: Remove the spray jet off of the wand and try spraying with open spray/no jet installed. Start working backward to find the point of clog. If no water comes out, remove the male brass quick disconnect from the hand tool and install it on the end of the pressure hose and see if water comes out. If no water comes out, install a blank QD on the face of the extractor and see if water comes out. You can use a priming hose for this if you have one. The water pressure hoses that are used on this machine are crimped with steel fittings. If the pressure hoses are clogged this is because the machine is not used very often. The inside of the hose at the crimped rust shut. Remove the male and female brass quick disconnect off each end of the pressure hose and use a small drill (3/16") bit on a drill to remove the rust from inside the hose ends and re-attach the brass QD's.
