  • 2" hose?

I have the powrflite with 2 2stage vacs in parallel. CFM 200 not sure of lift. would it make a difference if I changed to 2" dia. hose? I am running 50' of 1.5" hose and a 1.5" wand. Just curious.
    Thanks

    Max CFM for 1.5" hose

The maximum cfm for 1.5 ID hose is about 200 cfm and the maximum cfm for 2" hose is close to 400 cfm. Because you are already operating this machine at the maxium hose distance and the vacuum hose will carry the 200 cfm load I do not believe it will improve your cleaning performance until you are cleaning beyond 75 ft. I have tested multiple vacuum configurations and different hose lengths and hose ID's and found that 75 ft seams to be the magic number. But because it requires 8 stages of vacuum to travel more than 75 ft, it isn't necessary to upgrade to 2" ID hose.
