QUESTION: I am sure you heard this 1000 times but I am looking for a portable that can pull a double duty. Eclipse has the WRM model but i have
not heard one good thing about it. I am looking for a carpet cleaner but I will use it for restoration. As money comes in I will invest in a flood pumper of some sort but I will be relying on carpet cleaning to get me started. I have been researching for about a month and every link I ended up at your web sight. So i figured why not get your opinion and a quote.
I am looking for= 1 carpet cleaner (heat,max cfm&waterlift,500psi? and auto dump) complete wand and hoses
16-24 air movers
1 air scrubber (dri-eze hepa 500)
2 dehu's (probably will buy those locale. I have been quoted 1887.00 on the phoenix r200)
I will not need credit. I will be paying at the time of purchase.

ANSWER: Thanks for the interest in our products.
First of all in order to have a portable that does flood extraction and carpet cleaning the 1st criteria is larger auto dump. What I mean is auto dump pumps perform at about 1/2 duty under a vacuum as they do open flow. So if a pump states it is 3 to 5 gpm, against a vacuum it will do 1.75 to 2.5 gpm. In order to keep up with flood extraction, you want a machine that is rated for 20 and up gpm so under a vacuum load it can pump 10 to 35 gpm. Second thing to look at. I would want a machine with at least 6 stages of vacuum. Second thing to look at do I want 500 psi or at least 1000 psi. If you think you will ever want the same machine to also clean tile and grout, please consider an external pump system. You can purchase a flood pumper for the vacuum and auto dump and the cold water adjustable pressure washer for carpet and tile cleaning. Please go all the way to the bottom of the above page, it list about 8 or 9 more pumps that can be used for this. This would be a 'direct connection system' means no fresh water tank needed. Do you want heat? The only way you will get heat on a 1000 + psi system is to use an external fuel heater like propane, kerosene, diesel. All these types of heaters have to stay outside and usually are van or service vehicle mounted. How many power cords are you willing to plug in? Two, three, or four, or even 5? I really still do not have enough information to help you. Are you going to use a ramp? Here are some examples of what you could do not knowing all the answers:
