  • no, they're not useless, they are great tools. using them with the heated machines mentioned, the heat never will keep pace with the water flow of those tools.
that's why I said to forget them.
been nearly 9 yrs since I posted that reply.....amazing!

    shazzam triple vac shop vac

    qouple questions regaqrding this machine.

    1) do the large standard shop vac bags fit this machine? what about bags from home depot or lowes?

    2) the vac hose looks short and a bit cheesy and flimsy. can a 1.5" extractor hose fit or 2"?

there are some auto detailers that use RO treated water cause it leaves the vehicle virtually spot free, thus doing a lil better job at the cleaning!
it can become a tad costly from what i understand cause RO process itself is somewhat wasteful. maybe 70% efficient?

    i recall reading...

I never claim that our Machines are "more powerful than a conventional gas powered TM"....

    albert,
based on the info we've shared in our countless talks, i'm going to say this machine is every bit as strong, if not stronger, than any gas TM with a 36 or smaller...

wow donald, great post plus, i never realized how long winded you can be

i couldnt agreee with you more but the single most important thing is the fact way too many cleaners, especially the younger crowd/newbies, all get hung up on "set-up times"!

    in my nearly...

    replied to Fresh Water Tank....
the type service vehicle being used truely determines whether or not one uses a fresh tank or not.
i cannot see carrying 100+gals of water, along with the TM, and all associated chems and gear in a mini-van.
wont fit too well plus the weight will severely shorten the mini's life!

wow, its been a while since i been here.....

one of the features i'd like to see would be drop down legs, just like the workmaster etm's had.
maybe don or ken remembers these machines?

with this arrangement, there is no need of worry about distance. unlock the...

    donald,

i have 3 of the eclipse/whisper machines and would like to add an apo to one of the machines. i also want to remove the heater and add a 4th vac.

    customized enterprise/scout ?'s for donald

    first set of questions:
the enterprise is outfitted with 4 2-stage vacs. are these the 5.7" ameteks?
can it be outfitted with 4 of the 5.7" 3-stage, with the same set-up as the 4 2-stage? will 4 of the 5.7" 3-stage require 3 power cords? or, can it be outfitted with 3...

  • like i mentioned in an earlier reply, the ninja would suit your purpose just fine, especially coupled with the hild machine, and the volcano heater.
ninja machines i believe are the #1 selling portable on the market. very durable, simple and easy to work on when needed.
    normally, its the...

  • i forgot to mention.
a portable that flows less then 1.6 gallons per minute is in my opinion not capable of thorough flushing and if memory serves me well, ninja's flow 1.2 to 1.4 GPM's. i;m sure donald or someone will correct me if i am wrong

  • the flow rate, or GPM (gallons per minute) is, in my opinion, more important then psi. when you do a load of laundry, you have different "cycles", the washer cleans with. the pre-soak cycle would be like pre-spraying the carpet.
the wash cycle itself, would be like aggitating the carpet...

  • what donald said is 100% correct but if i may add to it...........
ninja extractors are excellent machines and very easy to work on if needed.
the model with dual 3 stagers will effectively extract with 75' of hose but i personally am leary of the 500psi pump. it will give good impact...

    whisper/eclipse portable

donald, the design of these portables, with the dump hose is sometimes a royal ****. can a dump valve be safely installed, and if so, how is it done?
one problem i see is if it can be done, the valve would not be at toilet height!
    any suggestions?
    thanks
